MBA in China

It was a matter of time that China would not only be an economic power but also as a popular destination for MBA students.
According to the U.S. magazine Business Week seven schools are responsible for this boom: CEIBS, Tsinghua University, Guanghua School of Management, Antai College of Economics and Management, Beijing International MBA at Peking University, Fudan University and Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business . The success of these programs must also be seen in the context of the cooperation with famous international schools such as Wharton and Sloan.
30 to 40 percent of the students in these various MBA programs are international; the programs last between 18 to 24 months. According to CEIBS, about half of these graduates opts for a job offer in China. In 2010, 50 percent of all international candidates have decided to accept a job offer in China. So far, mainly international employers are looking for MBA graduates, but the growing success of many Chinese companies could make this market even more dynamic.
